We Are The Wolves
Earlier this summer I had the great privilege to perform the role of #11 in Sarah DeLappe’s critically acclaimed playThe Wolves at Saint Croix Festival Theatre. This staged reading (emphasis on staged!) directed by Brooke-Erin Smith featured 10 powerhouse performers, each eager and excited to dive deep into the teenage girl psyche that all of us have experienced. Gertrude Stein’s words “We are always the same age inside” guided our ensemble-based process and yielded a deeply meaningful artistic experience for our ensemble and the audiences who shared in the story with us.
